What will be in my box?

Each month, the items in your INW Trading Co. box will be different. What exactly will come in your box depends on when you signed up for your subscription, and which box(es) you have already received, if any. 

For now, any new subscribers will always receive our “Welcome Box” first, which launched in July 2020. (To see the items featured in this box, visit our product page here.) This way, we can continue our relationships with our current partners in addition to creating new partnerships every month. 

If you signed up for a subscription and have not already received your first box, you can expect to receive our “Welcome Box” your first month, and our “BIPOC Box” your second month. Each month, we will add a new box to our series. 

If you signed up for a subscription and have already received our “Welcome Box,” then the next box you receive will be the second box in our series, which we are calling our “BIPOC Box.”

We will continue to update our website and send emails to our subscribers with all of the information about our upcoming boxes to make sure our subscribers know exactly what is coming in their box!

When will I receive my box?

Depending on when you signed up for your INW Trading Co. subscription, you will either receive your box on the 1st of the month, or the 15th of the month, every month. For example, if you signed up for your subscription between the 1st to the 14th, you will receive your box on the 15th of every month. If you signed up for your subscription between the 15th to the 30th or 31st of the month, you will receive your box on the 1st of the month. 

This allows us to operate more smoothly, focusing on half of our deliveries at a time as opposed to executing close to 100 deliveries in a single day. Similarly, not all of our subscribers’ subscriptions will renew on the same date, so this also allows us to only deliver to subscribers who have already paid for that month’s box.

When will my subscription renew?

Your subscription will automatically renew on the date that you originally signed up for a subscription every month (ie. if you signed up for a subscription on the 3rd of the month, your subscription will renew on the 3rd of every month).

What if I don’t like my box?

If you are unhappy with your subscription box, please reach out to us directly! We are always happy to issue a refund with a full return of the box and all of the items inside. You can send us an email at info@inwtradingco.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

What if I don’t like one of the items in my box?

Like most subscription boxes, INW Trading Co. boxes feature different items every month. Unlike most subscription boxes, all of the items in INW Trading Co. boxes are handmade by someone who lives in our region. If you don’t like one of the items in your subscription box, we hope that you can gift it to someone else who does. 

We understand that not all of the items in our boxes may seem like they should be very expensive, but we can guarantee that each item is a product of hours and hours of hard work from our partners. Altogether, our boxes represent hundreds of hours of labor from both our partners and ourselves. 

If you don’t particularly like one of the items in your box, we hope you can be patient until your next box arrives to discover something new that you might like more!

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you would like to cancel your subscription, you can simply visit your account page to cancel your subscription at inwtradingco.com/my-account/subscriptions/. From here, you can access and make any changes to your “Subscriptions” from the toolbar on the left side of the page. 

If you are having trouble canceling your subscription from your account page, please reach out to us directly at info@inwtradingco.com and we can cancel it for you.

If you decide to cancel your subscription before you receive your first box, we will assume that you do not want your subscription box and will issue you a refund as opposed to sending your box anyway.

How do I buy a gift subscription for somebody else?

We are working on a “Gift Subscription” option for our subscribers to make it easier to buy subscriptions for others. Until we have a more permanent solution, we recommend that our subscribers enter the shipping information for whoever they would like to receive the subscription box when checking out. 

If you want to buy one of our boxes as a one-time gift for someone, you will need to cancel your subscription AFTER the recipient receives their box. If you cancel your subscription BEFORE we deliver the box, we will assume that you want a refund and we will not deliver your box.

Can I recycle my box?

In the future, we would like to implement a Box Recycling Program to cut down on the waste associated with our business. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we are trying to be precautious as possible. 

In the future, we would like to be able to pick up past INW Trading Co. boxes to be reused for future INW Trading Co. subscriptions. Most likely, we will offer this service at the time of delivery by exchanging your empty box for a full one! 

For now, please keep your boxes! We would like to collect them from you in the future to be recycled by us. If you do not want to keep your boxes, we understand! Feel free to recycle them the old-fashioned way until we can offer box recycling.

How do I qualify for free shipping?

Right now, we are offering free shipping to all of our subscribers who live within a certain distance from Spokane City center. If you qualified for free shipping, that means that you can expect us to hand-deliver each of your boxes every month. If you know what day your box will arrive (again, either the 1st or the 15th of the month, depending on when you signed up for your subscription), keep an eye out for a personal delivery to your door! We love meeting our subscribers in person when we deliver their box. 

If you don’t qualify for free shipping at checkout, that means you live too far away from Spokane City center for us to be able to personally deliver your box, and we will mail your box via FedEx. When we mail your box, you can expect a FedEx Tracking ID to be sent to the email associated with your account. 

We are able to offer a two-day flat-rate shipping option via FedEx of $10.90, in addition to an Express Saver shipping option, which may offer a slightly less expensive rate for regional shipments.

Can I pick up my box locally if I don’t qualify for free shipping?

Right now, we are not able to offer this option to our subscribers. If you don’t qualify for free shipping, but would like to sign up for a subscription, we hope you will be willing to pay for shipping until we are able to offer this service. 

In the future, we hope to be able to add a local pick-up option to our subscribers who are just outside of our delivery range. For now, COVID-19 has us practicing extra caution when packing, delivering, or shipping our boxes, and we do not feel that a local pick-up option would be the safest for us or our subscribers.

Can I purchase additional items to add to my box?

For now, we want to perfect our subscription box service before we start allowing add-ons to your box. Eventually, we would like to offer all of the products from our past boxes on our site to be included in your next subscription box. 

Each month, you will receive a subscription box containing items that we hand-selected. In the future, we will allow our subscribers to add additional items to their box, if they wish. For example, if you loved your bath bomb from your “Welcome Box” and want to receive another one in your next box, you will be able to add this item to your next box.

However, while we are working toward adding this feature to our site eventually, we are focusing right now on doing what we do extremely well before we add anything else to our plate. Keep an eye out for more information about this project in the future.

Can I place a custom order for a large quantity of boxes from INW Trading Co.?

Yes! We think our boxes make the perfect gift, and we would love to work with you to create a custom order for a large quantity of boxes for your members, clients, etc.
