Female-Owned Paper Goods Co. and Friendly Duo
Black Sheep Paper Co. is a female-owned line of paper goods and things full of quirky hand-lettering, illustrations and designs in Spokane, WA. The line was created by Brittany Stodgell in 2014 while sipping copious cups of coffee and sharing an unfathomable amount of laughs with friends. Millie gleefully came on board in 2017.
Brittany loves three-day-old fridge lattes, jamming to Deftones & Queen, and still nerds out in the design section of Barnes & Noble on Sundays. Millie spends her summers at music festivals, hasn’t worn jeans since she found Lululemon, and will fight you for a Whiteclaw. Together, they strongly believe in the art of making others happy and sharing life’s moments through a personal handwritten note, card, or gift.
The duo giggle, doodle, and have a generally good time on the regular. Blacksheep is their little creative side hustle when they’re not playing their big-kid roles as Maker + Made co-workers. Maker + Made offers branding, websites, packaging, product photography, graphic design, & everything else they can dream up. Some of their clients include Mandala Chai Company, TT’s Old Iron Brewery, Swell Seed Company, Farr Group, Farm Chicks, Indaba Coffee, and many more!
