Quality Pencils with a Minimal and Elegant Aesthetic
Black Swallow Studio in Everett, WA, was born to provide unique, fun, and affordable gifts for many different occasions. Maria Domar, the owner, is a proud Portugese-American registered nurse, who has lived in WA most of her life. Maria has always loved creating, and has started by offering hand-pressed personalized pencils.
Maria started her Etsy shop in September of 2020 as a way to feed her creative side, as well as to create a source of income since she is currently home with her two children, who are 14 and 6. Although she is a registered nurse, Maria has not been working in healthcare for a few years. When she’s not running Black Swallow Studio, she is hanging out with her kids and she tries to sneak to Portugal to visit her family, friends, and the beach, as often as she can.
