Colleda Monick and Adrienne Engelhart are the duo behind Copper Pot Caramels in Yakima, WA. Each sea salt infused caramel chew is made in a small batch, and boxed in recycled cardboard, and each batch is sampled and tested for chew-ability, taste-ability, and flavor-ability. Colleda and Adrienne met in 2008, and after forming a fast friendship, they decided to quit their jobs and go into business together. Their reputation as high-quality, small-batch caramel makers is a key part of the Copper Pot Caramels brand, and the business was selected as a finalist in the Martha Stewart American Made competition in 2015, which recognizes small businesses in craft, food, style and design.

Although Copper Pot Caramels is nationally recognized as a high-quality caramel producer, the owners have chosen to stay true to their small-batch production operations to sustain growth, as opposed to outsourcing parts of production in order to meet high demand for their products.
