Owners Heather and Jake Kreilick opened their doors in 2012 after drinking a bag of loose leaf tea a friend and fellow tea company owner left at their house. Impressed, Heather and Jake decided to start their own tea company in Missoula, MT.
Lake Missoula Tea Company’s name is inspired from the last Ice Age. During this time, a vast glacial lake covered the Missoula Valley and a land bridge connected Asia to North America. The name symbolizes the cultural connections that originated when humans migrated to new places and their tea provides a tangible connection to this history.
Their Evening Chai tea is caffeine-free, and a zesty blend that includes a mix of Rooibos, ginger root, cinnamon, lemongrass, pink & black peppercorn, clove, cardamom, cayenne, and vanilla.
