Roving Goddess

Owned and operated by Laurie Ann Greenberg in Spokane, WA, Roving Goddess is a collection of unique handmade items that celebrate creativity, sustainability, and the spirit of giving. Each macrame piece, fiber wrapped earrings or knitted item is carefully designed and crafted in her home studio with meticulous attention to detail. Laurie Ann uses high quality material sourced responsibly. Her fiber art, including macrame wall hangings, plant hangers, weavings, and wrapped wooden earrings feature cotton and recycled fibers. 

Laurie Ann is a lifelong maker and has knit for over 50 years, hence her passion for anything fiber. Her grandmother taught her to knit at the age of seven, and she has spent years loving fiber and yarn. Most recently she has been addicted to weaving and macrame. 

Macrame came into her life about five years ago, and she views it as an extension of her knitting habit and her love for creating beautiful handmade items. Her goal whenever she is designing is to keep it simple yet fresh and she’s always conscious of the impact her art has on the environment, her community, and herself. 

Artist, dancer, writer, entrepreneur, Jill of all trades, and master of none, Laurie Ann is also a lover of life, a traveler and a city crawler. She loves people, culture, art, outdoors, language and networking. Originally from New York, Laurie Ann first discovered the Pacific Northwest when she moved to Portland, OR during the 1980s. She recently moved to Spokane, WA and is currently working on exciting new business developments coming soon!
